The MAX25520 is an automotive dual-channel TFT-LCD power supply
The MAX25520 is a dual-output power IC that provides symmetrical or asymmetrical positive and negative voltages as high as 10.5V and as low as -10.5V (±12V for the MAX25520ATEC) with input voltages between 2.65V and 5.5V. It contains a fully integrated current mode boost converter and an AD5420AREZ current mode inverter with an external rectifier. The device operates at one of two switching frequencies, 420kHz or 2.1MHz. Operation at 2.1MHz allows for a very compact dual output power supply.
The two output voltages can be programmed independently or track each other. A separate enable pin allows complete flexibility to power the output.
The output has overcurrent and undervoltage protection.
The MAX25520 is available in a compact 3x3mm TQFN package and operates over the -40 to 125°C temperature range.
